Severe burn

Ive been using the no no with no issues, I purchased this product approx 6 months ago. Today the thericom tip went bright orange halfway through a sweep across my arm.

I now have a severe burn that had to be wrapped. I will be taking the necessary measures to hold the company responsable, the burn is so bad that after having ice on it for 20minutes it is still burning and extremely painful

Mono not working properly

Thisis sadly the second one i have bought thro qvc.co.uk..as first began not charging..or.so.ithought..just put of warranty.of.one year by about a week or so..being used.onky once a week on cheeks of face?

As downy hair began growing again and qvc would not replace..i bought another!!

Again..same.problem..missing the down on my face and was burning skin on any more use!

Have.just spoken with qvc who have.me the name of distributor..whos business.is dissolved!!new place taken over..distributed from scotland?made in mexico.onBottom of last one!o

They are blasting out the year guarantee.and.saying they are still being sold in qvc..tho qvc say they are no longer selling them?o

What comeback has any customer...told them.of the.magnitude.of complaints similar tomine..think we all need to get to the ombudsman?in order to get these stopped.from sale?as they are obviuosly not for for anypurpose?

Ive bought 2 of these things. Ive gotten 4 replacements because they dont work.

I would never ever tell somebody to buy this garbage. Hundreds of dollars on something so useless.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

I ordered the device and tried it out, did not like it. I called to return and after extending the trial period was given the RMA instructions, which I followed to the letter.

Yet they charged my acct. for the device. Not only was I not expecting this charge, it made my acct overdrawn. I called and they promptly refunded the charge but would do nothing for the overdraft fee.

This mistake was DIRECTLY their fault but they would not cover the fee.

So in the end, the company RADIANCY stole money from me. AGAIN BE WARNED, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

EASY FOR ANYONE TO FIX NO NO 8800

This might have already been answered - but - My wife asked me to look at her no no model 8800.

First I removed the replacement tip and could see that the little rubber drive belt was stretched to the point that it was not working.

I used a very small flat tip screw driver and removed the outer colored cover starting from the tip end(came off with little effort). Next I removed the inner gray colored case the same way.

Then I used my fingers to pull off the little white colored wide roller that makes contact with your skin. Next I popped out the tiny motor with the same screw driver which has the drive pulley and holds the bottom of the drive belt (little rubber band).

For a replacement belt I was at first going to use a small o-ring - but- when I compared the elasticity of the o-ring to the original belt, the o-ring did not have enough stretch.

I told my wife the situation and she mentioned that our daughter still had some elastic dental bands hanging around and that they were very "stretchy".

So i used - and I quote - ( ORTHODONTIC ELASTICS 1/4" HEAVY NON- LATEX ).

At first sight these will appear too small but they stretch perfectly ( and your original will be already stretched out much longer than it was from contact with oils from your skin.

Put the new band around the pulley wheel of the little motor ( before ) you snap it back in place.

Now stretch the other end of the band over the pulley end of the wide white roller bar just before you snap this back into place. Now replace the inner and outer covers and the replacement tip and you are ready to go.

The dental elastics are square edged instead of round like the original bad - but it will not affect the performance.

Followed your instructions and fixed NONO thanks for great info Just a bit more info. Prise the front covers off from the top.

I found that was the hardest part but they will come off..

The inside unit then lifts out. I got the ring from eBay 1mm Section 8mm Bore NITRILE 70 Rubber O-Rings

Easy to take apart. I found the same problem and have been dealing with the rubber drive issue.

Will look for some type of replacement. The pulley drive by the motor had debris, probably hair, around it that I think restricted the motor from running and the rubber drive to bind.

I cleaned that out also. Good post.

NoNo Pro is perhaps the most advertised, yet the least effective of the hair removal systems we evaluated. We found the best results with Tria, but the higher cost offsets the slight advantage it may have over the Flash&Go and Infini’Silk.

I bought mine 3 months ago still waiting to see results. They said I can use it everyday, but product manual advises against daily use.

If I have it on high setting I have burnt my skin but not major burnt. It goes away, I am still having to use razor and tweezers to pluck. I don't even shave daily so I'm not going to use no no daily. Only good came of it was the face buffer I bought to use with it leaves me face exfoliated.

I'm definitely canceling and will get a refund but will keep lotions they sent me already which all those auto ships with new tips and buffers costly. I really wanted to try this seemed like it would work some see results, but it really isn't working for me.

NoNo hair removal system not working properly

My NoNo hair removal system not working properly.

I cannot switch the Treatment level. It got stock on the highest one.

I have written and had no reply, I have tried to email - no response - where is the customer service?

Please advise how to get my NoNo back working.... My warranty will expire on the end of December

No no stops charging

My no no was great whilst it worked but once it ran out of battery It would not charge back up. It plugs into the charger, the battery indicator flashes to say that it is charging but as soon as you unplug it, the battery is still flat.

Even after 24 hrs plugged in. This is *** given how much the device costs
